OK – I’m obsessed with snapping pictures of my garden flowers. But I can’t help it. You’d think that they all would look the same year after year, but I’m always motivated to capture images with each passing year. The garden changes, plants grow, I put my yard ornaments in different places – and there are more picture opps!
So I’m walking through my garden (my daily AM routine with my cup ‘o joe) and planned to capture a new hosta blossom. But as I walked up close, I saw that the smoke bush above the hosta had lovely soft tufts with raindrops on it from the overnight thunderstorm. And I just couldn’t help myself. So I just kept walking through the rest of the garden, snapping blossoms and vignettes as they came into view.
I hope these brighten your day. Click image to enlarge photos.
