Fall planting August 17, 2009

I read a great article over the weekend in my print publication, Countryside, about planting some traditionally early summer crops now and into the fall. I thought my planting progress on the CSA Farm was going to be postponed until spring, but I think I can use the greenhouse and do some test plants for next year. I might even be able to have some vegetables all winter like lettuce. I’m excited to keep moving ahead!

Do you plant any vegetables in the fall? I’d love to hear what’s been successful for you, especially if you’re in chilly Zone 4 like me!
